Founded in 1986 by an enterprising Industrial and electrical engineer who had worked with the Aerospace Defense industry for quite a while, Coverking, from the very beginning, was augmented by experiences gathered by its founder. Right from the earliest days, the company was committed to apply modern technology, all in an effort to reduce the production costs, offer the product at a less price and enhance the quality too. And the impact of the modern technologies applied was fabulous! Production leaped sky high while the quality was unmatched.

Coverking have always strived to provide the best available fabric for its finished goods. Reputation followed industry recognition. Rave reviews attracted the attention of all concerned with the trade. Product appreciation reached such great heights that the US auto giant GM (General Motors) allowed Coverking to use the esteemed GM™ logo in the upholstery products for GM vehicles. Yet another colorful feather was added when the prestigious Quality Certification of QS9000 and TS16949 was awarded to Coverking soon after.

The company soon applied the same technology and know-how that had ushered in revolutionary changes into the making of other products, and the results were fabulous. And today, Coverking has grown to become the leading brand in the world for automobile accessories.
